Laura gave a very interesting fellowship. Seeing as we just experienced a “Blue Moon” earlier in the week, she researched the NASA website and came up with Dr. Steven Williams’s list of songs with the word “Moon” in them.  Such familiar songs, both old and new, including “Moon River”, “Blue Moon over Kentucky”, “Bad Moon Rising”, “Moon Light Bay” and a number of “Moon” songs were listed.

Andy Grant had his daughter in town for vacation.  Andy also thanked Bill Champagne for the Norwich Historical Society’s welcome center.

Rodney Green was in Tennessee last week for what was supposed to be a birthday celebration that turned out to be a memorial service.  On the way back to Connecticut he got pulled over for speeding outside of Nashville and the Connecticut plates did not help the situation. However Rodney’s Tennessee accent did help a bit.

Mike Matera just returned from a buying trip to Las Vegas.  He estimated he has been there at least 30 times!

Gary Young had dinner at Andy Grant’s as a bidder at the Rotary Auction.  He and Romer had a splendid time and urged everyone to bid next year if it’s offered!  Gary also said the Salvation Army is selling commemorative bricks to raise money and the bricks are $100.00 apiece.
