Fellowship: by Barry who talked about Memorial Day. Although just a youth, he recalls being at Arlington National Cemetery to hear President Garfield deliver the first Memorial Day speech.

  • Our annual Rose Garden visit will be on June 4 at the regular time.
  • The Rotary International Convention will be held in Atlanta from June 9th – 15th.
  • Celebrate Diversity’s next meeting for this year will be on June 26 at 2:00, at the Savings Institute. See Barry to sponsor the event or suggest other sponsors. Bonnie added the while the main event will be on September 19th, there will be a dedication of a Peace Pole at our flagpole at Howard T. Brown Park. We have also arranged a visit from our UN representative who will speak at Otis Library.
  • Madonna Place event will be June 8.
  • Our golf tournament will be 9.6.17.

Bonnie presented $12,400 to John as proceeds from the carnival.
 
 
Happy Dollars:  with  Kathleen who started it off with some spring trivia.
 
 
Gary is looking for tee sponsors, auction items, and golfers for our golf tournament.  He gave some instructions about getting sponsors.
 
 
 
Bonnie praised Jim D. for the Native Son function. She said we are sponsoring a short-term Youth Exchange.
 
 
Andrew gave fractional dollars for Kyle, Jim D., and Bonnie.
 
 
 
Mike C. for Bonnie and the carnival where Matt had fun on the rides. Mike is having fun with his latest toy, a pole saw. Mike had a reaction to his mess so he changed the time when he takes it.
 
 
 
Nancy gave a favorable weather report for Thursday night's Madonna Place event.
 
 
Mike G. missed getting into an accident with a speeding Tesla on Washington St.
 
 
 
Mike M. had an Amber Alert fail and needs to get the printers repaired. He's said that we lost Chris Cornell and Greg Allman, two of his favorite singers.
 
 
Pres. Kevin for Bonnie's carnival and fidget spinners. He's glad baseball season is upon us.
