Gary for John’s birthday and for a baseball card story. Romer doesn’t think the cards are a good investment. So Gary decided to look through his vast collection of cards for four hours each night. What he did find was a 1956 Mickey Mantle card – on which he had drawn a moustache many years ago. . . .Gary offered to go through his friend’s cards, too. There he found a 1954 Ted Williams card in mint condition, which had an estimated value of $18,500before he drew a moustache on it.
